🎭 Theatre in the garden – a special evening in Fleurey-lès-Lavoncourt 🎭

Last year, we had the pleasure of enjoying a truly special evening of theater in Fleurey-lès-Lavoncourt. Under the title ‘Diener zweier Herren in Fleurey-lès-Lavoncourt – Theater in its purest form,’ the troupe staged a magnificent performance in a unique setting: the garden of a local resident.

There was no grand production, no rows of seats, and no distance separating the audience from the actors. Instead, there was something far more beautiful: intimacy, authenticity, and a sense of togetherness.

Just a meter away, the actors performed with verve, humor, and infectious energy. You were literally in the midst of it all, almost becoming part of the story. Every gesture, every glance, and every laugh resonated directly with the audience.

On Saturday, August 1st of this year, there was another special performance. This time, we were able to enjoy *Shakespeare’s The Merry Wives of Windsor*—once again set against the unique backdrop of our village, where theater and conviviality come together beautifully.

And just like last year, the evening was far from over once the applause had died down. After the performance, we enjoyed chatting together and sat down for a delightful gathering featuring food, drinks, and—of course—a good glass of wine. Together with the actors and the village residents, we enjoyed a wonderful evening filled with social interaction, conviviality, and a sense of connection.

What makes evenings like this so special? It is not just the theater itself, but above all the shared experience—enjoying culture, good food and drink, engaging conversations, and everything our beautiful village has to offer.

An evening to look back on with a warm feeling.

Fleurey-lès-Lavoncourt once again demonstrates that theater can happen anywhere... as long as you experience it together!
