More daylight for our fruit trees

We know that this is not the ideal time to prune fruit trees. Nevertheless, we have chosen to take an important step now: giving our trees more space and daylight. By making the canopies slightly more open, the fruit will receive more sunlight later on, which can contribute to better development and an even fuller flavor.
All fruit trees have been carefully pruned under the supervision of an expert. This involved not only removing excess branches, but primarily focusing on the health, growth, and future of each tree. A good balance between light, air, and growth is essential to maintain strong trees that can bear beautiful fruit every season.
We also had to make the decision to completely prune one of our trees so that it cannot transmit diseases to our other trees. We will replace this tree in the near future.
After pruning, we immediately tidied everything up so that the garden looks well-maintained again and the trees have plenty of room to continue growing.
However, this is only the first step. A second pruning round will follow in October. During this round, we will further improve the condition of the trees and prepare them specifically for the next growing season. In this way, we ensure that our fruit trees remain healthy, and we hope to be able to harvest delicious, high-quality fruit again next season—and hopefully even more.
A healthy orchard requires attention, patience, and the right care.
We are already looking forward to harvesting our fruit!
